Oblivion Kickstarter in Jacket Copy

The Kickstarter campaign for the film of David Foster Wallace's OBLIVION by Francesco Marchione made the L.A. Times Book blog, Jacket Copy.

Three literary Kickstarter projects that aren't offensive by Carolyn Kellogg.

[...] a 25-minute film adaptation of the story "Oblivion" by David Foster Wallace. Director Francesco Marchione secured rights from the David Foster Wallace Literary Trust and publisher Little, Brown to make his version of the script. As far as I know, this is the first film project based on Wallace's work since John Krasinski made "Brief Interviews With Hideous Men" -- at least, it's the one that's gotten closest to production.

Oh, you can keep a statistical eye on the Oblivion kickstarter project via Kicktraq.
