DFW interviewed by Charlie Rose

The two Charlie Rose video interviews are now free for all on Google Video. Thanks to Ben for letting wallace-l know, and also for noting where we need to skip to time wise.

1. Roundtable with Jonathan Franzen and Mark Leyner in 1996, tune in at the 35 minute mark.

2. The 'bandana interview' of 1997 where DFW does not seem at all comfortable; a very interesting interview. 23 minute mark.

New DFW publication on the way

DFW has been commissioned to contribute to a full colour publication that accompanies the forthcoming Thomas Demand: L’Esprit d’Escalier exhibition at the Irish Museum of Modern Art. It's great to have something to look forward to!

Bibliography Update

Version 3 of Ryan's amazing DFW bibliography has been available for some time over at http://theknowe.net/dfw. It is a spectacular piece of work (much better than the paltry one available here).
