Pale Winter - A Collective Reading

Here's an interesting YouTube clip/announcement, Pale Winter: una lettura collettiva (Google translate link )

If you're fluent in Italian it doesn't get much better than this:

A pale winter tribute to Wallace
The Archive DFW Italy, launched the initiative 'Pale Winter': collective reading of "The Pale King" by David Foster Wallace.
On 21, February, 1962, was born the American writer David Foster Wallace and the occasion of his birthday 50simo a group of loyal readers will give way to a rational reading of his posthumous novel, "The Pale King," published last year, translated in Italy by the publishing house Einaudi.

The reading will start from today, 21 February, and March 3, every Saturday for 12 weeks, each participant will publish 'action on the site of the Archives DFW Italy. Of course, comments and speeches will be open to all Italian readers of Wallace, who are invited to join the initiative: a Facebook page and a Google Group will be open for the occasion, giving more opportunity to interact with anyone who wanted it.

The reading group is a tribute to a writer who in Italy has a following of loyal and attentive readers, thanks to the valuable work, quite unique in the world, especially publishers Fandango, Minimum Fax, and Einaudi, who translated and published his books back in the late '90s.

How to proceed. Get a copy of "The Pale King", and start reading it, and in the meantime, visit the Archive DFW Italy, where you will find interesting information and materials. From 3 March onwards you can start to post your comments.
